Heritage Walk-Teppakulam Precinct

Jointly organised with Archtrust, Trichy, the heritage walk is meant to discover the various heritage layers that are embedded in the precinct.

Open to public.

The Heritage walk highlighted the various historic layers that constitute the Teppakulam Precinct – from the humble Jain origins, the first rock-cut temples of the 7th-8th century, to the established fort town in the 15th-16th century upto developments as late as the mid-20th century.

The Heritage Walk had about 18 participants, including architects, architecture students, a few school students between the ages of 8 and 14, and their parents.
